Software I use, gadgets I love, and other things I recommend.

Occasionally, people ask me about the tools I use—whether it’s my development setup, the software I rely on, or just the things that make my workflow smoother. Here’s a list of the tech and tools that power my work in research, automation, and development.

Workstation

  • ROG Zephyrus G14 (2021)

My trusty companion powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS and 24GB RAM. Despite being a few years old, it still handles everything I throw at it like a champ, from heavy number crunching to running multiple development environments.

  • Logitech G502 HERO

A gaming mouse that's become my coding companion. Perfect weight, perfect sensitivity, and enough buttons to make me feel like I'm piloting a spaceship while navigating code.

  • Sony MDR-XB950N1

These 7-year-old warriors still deliver incredible sound quality and noise cancellation. While they might get a bit cozy after marathon coding sessions, they've been more reliable than most of my relationships.

Dev Tools

  • Neovim

My code sanctuary. Once you embrace the Vim way, there's no going back. It's like having a conversation with your code where your fingers do all the talking. Check out my personal Neovim configuration if you're interested in seeing how I've set up my coding environment.

  • Windows Terminal + WSL Ubuntu

Running Ubuntu through WSL on Windows 11 Pro. Who says you can't have the best of both worlds? The official Windows Terminal has proven itself worthy, no fancy alternatives needed.

  • Git

The time machine for code that every developer dreams about. Probably the greatest invention since sliced bread for software development.

Tech Stack

  • Primary Stack

TypeScript for type safety, Python for data science wizardry, Go for speed demons, and Astro because who doesn't love their websites running at light speed? On the web front, I wield React with Tailwind for sleek UIs, but my true passion lies in the data science realm. Give me a Jupyter notebook with NumPy, Pandas, and TensorFlow, and I'll turn your data into insights. From scikit-learn for machine learning to PyTorch for deep neural networks, and Seaborn for making those insights visually stunning - that's where the real magic happens.

Apps

  • Notion

My second brain, complete with beautiful KaTeX integration for when I need to jot down that random mathematical epiphany at 3 AM.

  • Overleaf

Where my LaTeX documents come to life, making my research papers look like they came from the future.

  • Wolfram Alpha

My mathematical Swiss Army knife. From simple calculations to complex calculus, it's never let me down.

  • Claude

My favorite AI companion. We have the most intellectually stimulating conversations, and yes, I'm totally writing this through it right now... or am I?
